Sometimes you get sunshine and other times you get rain… This engagement session, unfortunately we got rain! But you know what, we persevered! Even though we weren’t able to get everything we had hoped for this session, I think we still got some pretty special shots. Besides, it’s not everyday you can drive to Austin and photograph such sweet human beings! I truly enjoyed getting to know Brittany and Jason more during this session and we had a great time traveling around the city to photograph in really neat areas of Austin, Texas. Brittany’s dad lived in Austin and it had always been a special place for her. Once her and Jason began dating, it became their thing! We had it planned to photograph them on the river because that’s what they love doing when they come into town, but the rain didn’t allow that to happen. Their smiling faces and precious giggles were honestly all I needed in this session. It captured who they are and how much fun they have together. And that’s all that matters!!
