Fort Worth Stockyards and Trinity Trails Engagement Portraits- Rebecca + Trevor

fort worth stockyards engagement photography

These Fort Worth Stockyards and Trinity Trails Engagement Portraits were a great deal of fun to photograph! The weather was fantastic and the company was great! The Fort Worth Stockyards are filled with nooks and crannies and has a number of fantastic areas to photograph in. We could have spent all evening photographing there! Rebecca and Trevor specifically chose the Fort Worth Stockyards for their session as this is a place they enjoy coming to. They especially enjoy the Cowtown Winery. We met there and started our evening off photographing in alleyways on either side of the building that the winery is in. Trevor had a specific wall in mind so after our alleyway shots, we ventured out and searched the nearby streets for it. We didn’t have to search long before we found it. There is a brick wall with faded, painted advertisements on it. It looks as though it’s been painted over a number of times for different advertisements and it’s a neat wall for sure! We photographed there before heading over to the other side of the Stockyards area near Risky’s Barbeque. We found great doors and photographed in the covered avenue of shops. That was a wrap for the Stockyards!

The Fort Worth Stockyards and Trinity Trails were both perfect locations for this couple. Rebecca is from Arkansas and went to school at Texas Christian University for college. Trevor is from Fort Worth and went to college in Tennessee. They met shortly after they both graduated through mutual friends. Fort Worth has a significance to their relationship so the couple wanted to get the Fort Worth skyline in some of their photos. For this, we went to a part of Trinity Trails as the sun set. Sunset photos are some of my personal favorites from my sessions! I love the colors and the drama of it. I’m looking forward to photographing this great couple for their wedding in Fort Worth next June!
