Meet Alexandra

Our lives are made up of moments. Sometimes these moments are seemingly ordinary, sometimes they are extraordinary. It’s incredible how your emotions can be captured in such a brief portion of time. I live to capture the extraordinary moments that make part of life. This is why I have chosen photography as my career. And more than that, it’s part of who I am. Ever since I tagged along as an assistant to my first wedding in 2010, I fell in love. I knew that what I wanted to do with my life was to capture this extraordinary day. It’s full of beautiful emotions… joy, hope, love, bliss. It’s special to be a part of a day that has so much meaning for the people involved.

I approach each wedding with a fresh set of eyes. I focus on telling your story because your story is unique to you. There is beauty in the details that makes your wedding day yours. You are why I love what I do. I am committed to making your experience with me an enjoyable one. From our first meeting at the consultation to each and every step along the way to the wedding day, I will be there to help support you and be of assistance in any way that I can. I take joy in knowing that I am a part of this extraordinary journey you are taking in your lives and I appreciate being the one who captures these memories for you. My sincerest hope is that you adore your wedding photographs and treasure them for years to come.

I’m sure you’re wondering a little more about me as a person… so here it goes! I was born and raised in Dallas and went to high school at Ursuline Academy (Go Bears!). For college, I went to a small liberal arts college in Florida called Eckerd. I know, rough place to spend four years! (I’ll be honest, I miss the sea breeze, the weather and the ocean everyday!) I studied in London for a semester and after graduating, I went onto Boston University for photography school. I moved back to Dallas in 2010. My family resides here in Dallas and family is one of the most important aspects of my life. I’ve had fun getting to know the metroplex since I got back and find the best of what it has to offer. You can find me exploring and scouting new locations for photo sessions, eating at food trucks (obsessed is putting it mildly) and going to dog parks with my ridiculously adorable dog, Remy. You may think I’m a little biased but fact is fact. Remy and I enter D Magazine’s Survival of the Cutest every year and one of our goals is to win someday! Some other fun facts…I adore Wes Anderson films, am a better than average parallel parker, sleep talk, have encountered a variety of sea animals on my scuba diving adventures and I love Sriracha. I also recently got engaged!
I am an open book and would love to speak with you about your wedding day so feel free to check out my Wedding Collection and get in touch with me! If you are an Ursuline alum or you are a Jesuit alum, please let me know as I’d love to give you a special bonus for booking a wedding package with me! My partner in crime, Megan, is fantastic so also check out her Wedding Collection! We have a similar style and approach to wedding photography and would love for you to choose the best fit for you! Thanks so much for checking us out!
