Ridglea Christian & Hilton Hotel Downtown Fort Worth Wedding – Jennifer & Leo

private last dance hilton hotel downtown

This Ridglea Christian & Hilton Hotel Downtown Fort Worth Wedding of Jennifer and Leo’s was a fabulous soiree! And to be truthful, I had no idea how sweet these two were until just a few months before their wedding. They met with Michelle and decided that I might be a better fit for their event…and booked me without even meeting me! I knew that Michelle could tell…we were meant to be together! 🙂

A few months before their wedding we decided to meet up and have a beer at the Ginger man. We all had the chance to get to know each other a bit. It gave Jennifer AND Leo a chance to share their plans with me. Fast forward a few months and here we were…getting these two lovebirds married! Both Jennifer & Leo got ready at the Hilton in Downtown Fort Worth, which made things so much easier. I love it when we are in the same place! I rode with the girls to the church and we took advantage of the time it took for the bus to take the boys to the church and did some “Bridesmaids” cover reenactments…how cute are these!? Their ceremony was absolutely gorgeous in Jennifer’s home church, Ridglea Christian. Jennifer’s pastor married them as they were surrounded by loved ones. It was truly a beautiful ceremony.

Afterwards the party got pretty crazy at the Hilton, thanks to the awesome Royal Dukes band! I don’t think the dance floor was empty the entire time. I’m always excited when a couple tells me that they are having a band. There’s just something about the live music that gets everyone up and moving. Jen & Leo had a private last “sweetheart dance” before the night came to a close.  I always joke that my only rule is that you MUST do a sweetheart dance. I’m joking (mostly) but I truly think that every couple should have one. Here are my reasons. #1. its an awesome photo opportuntiy to have some romantic shots of you two snuggled up in the completely empty room, with remnants of the fantastic time you and your loved ones had. #2. Your friends and family WILL take a few minutes to get outside and lined up. its a fact. #3. Your wedding day will fly by, and this is a great moment to just slow down, look into each others eyes and say “We’re Married.”

I’m so so glad they did, the ball room looked gorgeous…and off they went through a sky full of bubbles and off into the sunset…I mean into the late LATE evening 😉  I hope you enjoy, and congratulations to this adorable couple! xoxo Megan
