What an amazing day this was for Sonya and Nick! A great couple, a great team of vendors, at stunning wedding venues! What more could you ask for? All day long with these two was pure joy and excitement. They were so thankful this day had come and they soaked in every moment of it. We started off the day with Sonya getting ready in BRIK Venue’s gorgeous bridal suite. It’s so colorful yet chic and allows for great photo opportunities every where you turn. We took advantage of the blooming ivy wall on the side of the venue for Nick’s getting ready. Also, be sure to get a look at his pre-game ritual snack in the images below! His custom suit jacket was so neat and it’s something they’ll be able to look back on the rest of their lives and remember their special day. Since it was a little warm outside with it being the summer, we did their intimate first look upstairs. They were so giddy and eager to see each other!! We worked our way over to the Robert Carr Chapel for their Catholic Mass ceremony and it was beautiful! I loved witnessing these two becoming united with the Lord and catching them taking quick looks at each other during the time of their ceremony. The couple loved the idea of having a send off outside of the chapel so they had their friends and family line up and blow bubbles as they walked out, it was too cute!! Once all of the formalities and group pictures were finished, we headed our way back to BRIK Venue to celebrate the rest of the evening! Danny with It’s Your Night Entertainment crushed both the live music portion of his set and keeping the party going all night long. To top of the evening, the couple held purple and white smoke bombs as they did their final send off when it was time to leave. That was such a fun way of doing that!
