Semper Fi! Former Marine Bridal Session | Kim

Former Marine Bridal Session

So glad to be posting this because it means that Kim & Tyler are married!! Hooray!! I met these two June of last year and they are a fun couple!! We photographed their engagement shortly after and we were able to walk around the University of Texas at Dallas Campus. We had a great time and had plenty of laughs!! (Check out their engagement session blog HERE!)

Kim’s bridal session is a one of a kind for a couple different reasons. First, I want to thank this Sergeant for her service in the Marine Corps. She served from 2004-2014 as a Diesel Mechanic. “I joined my senior year of high school when I was 17. I liked the aspect of being apart of something bigger than myself and serving my country,” Kim shared with me when I asked her what made her decide to join. We are so grateful for the time you served!! Another one of a kind part of Kim’s bridals is that it was challenging. I say this with such a glad heart, because it causes me to have to get more creative. Kim, like most of us, isn’t too fond of getting her picture taken. The beginning of the session we certainly had to warm up. But I kid you not, the moment Kim did, she did a beautiful job. The pictures you see below are a gorgeous representation of life, hard work, and growth. It was uncomfortable at times, but Kim overcame and I was so proud of her. By the end of the session, I asked Kim to show me her “Last picture of the session pose” and if you scroll all the way down, you’ll see Kim’s. It shows her strength and her perseverance. I am so happy for you and Tyler and cannot wait to see what is in store for you guys! Lots of love, Hayle!! SEMPER FI!!
